Our Wide Range of Services

South Shore Speech Pathology provides evaluation and treatment of various pediatric

speech/language, fine motor, and gross motor delays and disorders.  We believe that in order to increase our students' educational performance it is imperative to make every effort to to be available for collaboration with parents, teachers and therapists to promote generalization of skills.

 

Our services at a glance

  • Speech & Language Therapy
    • Our speech language pathologists address language delays, articulation delays, phonological delays, pragmatic delays, oral motor delays, fluency/stuutering disorders , auditory processing disorders, autism and pervasive developmental disorders, and other developmental/neurological diagnoses.  Therapists are trained in advanced therapeutic techniques such as SOS Feeding Approach, PROMPT, The Lidcombe Program for Stuttering, and Earobics.
  • Occupational Therapy
    • Our occupational therapists address fine motor skills, postural control, prewriting and handwriting, sensory processing, visual perception, motor planning, activites of daily living, environmental modifications.  Therapists are trained in the  HandWriting Without Tears program.
  • Physical Therapy
    • Our physical therapists address gross motor skills, motor planning, cordination, strength, balance, and functional mobility.

                  

          South Shore Speech Pathology works with various private preschools to provide free screenings to assess their students speech/language and fine motor skills.  The purpose of these screenings is to determine if a student requires further evaluation of their current skills.  If you are interested in obtaining more information about free screenings please contact us.
