South Shore Speech Pathology is a dynamic facility with a highly developed system of service provision. Our office is comprised of highly qualified speech pathologists that possess a New York/New Jersey state license and ASHA certification. Our therapists specialize in all pediatric speech/language delays and diagnoses including: language delays, articulation delays, phonological delays, pragmatic delays, oral motor delays, auditory processing disorders, fluency/stuttering, autism and pervasive developmental disorders, and other developmental/neurological diagnoses. We also provide occupational and physical therapy to address delays in fine motor, gross motor, and sensory motor skills.
South Shore Speech Pathology provides therapy to children who are approved for related services in the community through the Department of Education (CPSE & RSA). We also participate in the following health insurance plans;

All on-site therapy is administered in private offices to ensure each child's attention and to maximize results. South Shore Speech Pathology prides itself on its history of providing exceptional services in a warm and friendly pediatric environment. South Shore Speech Pathology is open 6 days a week from early morning to evening to assist parents with flexible scheduling. We understand the importance of our parent's input and prioritize being available to meet the needs of their schedules. We offer onsite services as well as home and school based services. South Shore Speech Pathology has provided therapy services for children in our community for almost a decade and continues to be an integral part of the special education community in Staten Island and New Jersey.

About Our Owner
Nicole Scire has been a licensed speech language pathologist since 2004. She holds a TSHH and is ASHA certified. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Spech Pathology from St. John's University and a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Long Island University. She specializes in autism spectrum disorder, apraxia, receptive/expressive language, auditory processing disorders, articulation and phonological delays and disorders. Ms. Scire is trained in PROMPT, The Lidcombe Program for Stuttering and has extensive training in continuing education. Ms. Scire has also worked with children as a Special Education Itinerant Teacher (SEIT) and as a teacher and therapist of Applied Behavioral Analysis.
Nicole and staff enjoy representing their agency in Staten Island and New Jersey community outreach. They represent South Shore Speech at special education fairs, provide parent consultations and lectures and have organized fundraisers to raise money for Autism Speaks. Since its opening in 2002, South Shore Speech Pathology prides itself on its history of providing exceptional services with highly qualified professionals for over a decade.
